The Real Estate unit

With real estate to the value of around 10 billion euros in our portfolio, we are one of the major asset managers on the property market in Germany and Europe. Through company stakes and corporations, we also invest in real estate in America and Asia. Property management is also very important in what we do, with our detailed knowledge of the technical condition of the properties and lease agreement structures. Another focus of our expertise is on real estate equities (Reits), especially outside Germany, and on investments in forest and agricultural land.

Your profile for a career in Asset Management Real Estate

  • Degree in management/economics, structural engineering, architecture or similar

 

Depending on your specialist field, you will need the following experience and skills:

 

To work in Real Estate Portfolio Management

  • Experience working in this field
  • Knowledge of the German and international real estate markets
  • Know-how in property valuation and international accounting

To work in Real Estate Fund Management

  • Experience managing real estate special funds
  • Knowledge of real estate financing, liquidity planning and reporting demands

To work in Real Estate Asset Management

  • Experience working in the field of real estate asset management
  • Knowledge of lifecycle management, leasing in Germany and internationally, and foreign language skills

To work in Real Estate Project Management

  • Experience in project development and owner representation, and in realising large real estate projects

To work in Lease Management

  • Experience leasing out large properties 
  • Strong commercial, legal and technical know-how
  • Excellent English

Your profile for a career in the Real Estate Property Management unit

  • Degree in economics or completed training as a real estate specialist/economist or as a property appraiser

To work in Commercial Property Management

  • Experience in commercial property consulting
  • Extensive commercial, legal and technical knowledge of the real estate market
  • Good English

To work in Technical Property Management

  • Experience in technical maintenance/repair
  • Extensive commercial, legal and technical knowledge in the field of real estate
